Sheehan's Pub | Our Story
Family from the very start
Sheehan's is named for my grandfather, Cyril Sheehan. He was my hero. Poppa started working at eight, out of sheer necessity. He kept at it until he'd built his own trucking company from the ground up.
The cottage
Every weekend I biked out to his cottage in Rivière-Beaudette, and every weekend he asked, "You feeling strong, kid?" Yes or no, there was work to do, and he taught me everything from tying a tie to building a deck.
His name on the door
He taught me hard work, resilience and doing things with heart, so his name went on the front door. This one's for you, Poppa.
Two locations now
There's a Sheehan's in Lancaster and one in Ingleside. When the regional Wing Love event came around, each of us crafted a one-of-a-kind wing dish for it.
